Join DRESS TO PROTEST: an evening of poster making, creative reuse and upcycling workshops for the global climate strike on September 20th.
On the 20th of September people across the world will take to the streets for the biggest Global Climate Strike yet! You don't have to call yourself an activist, but it's time for action! Why not join us on Wednesday 18th from 6pm-8.30 for a space to meet other like minded individuals and get creative ahead of the climate strike.
This FREE and family friendly event is brought to you by Climate Case Ireland / Swapsies / FOE and will take place in the Tara Building, Dublin 2. Doors open at 6pm and upcycling workshops led by the lovely team of Swapsies will run from 6:30 - 8:30.
Our aim is to help you create / decorate posters, banners & outfits ahead of the Global Climate Strike. We have collected over 100 Green High Vis Jackets from FOE Ireland and we need your help to repurpose them! You are welcome to also provide your own materials, for instance old t-shirts that you would like to upcycle.
Refreshments will be served on the night and if you want to take part in this drop in event, we ask that you register via eventbrite so that we have an idea of numbers on the night. This is a free event, donations are welcomed.
