De-Escalation in Activism

Conflict is inevitable - what matters is how we deal with it. It is increasingly clear how important it is for as many people as possible within grassroots environmental campaigns to have knowledge and experience of de-escalation and conflict resolution.

This workshop will act as an introduction to non-violent communication and de-escalation tactics for protest situations. It will also be an opportunity for activists to share any skills or techniques they have found especially useful. It will be aimed at Extinction Rebellion's Week of Rebellion in October and will provide valuable knowledge for anyone wishing to have an active role in the week.

The event will take place in Dublin city center, location TBC.
